HIRING: BAC RECRUITING QUALITY / STA ENGINEER
BAC is actively recruiting a Quality/STA Engineer to join at an exciting time in the company’s history. With significant growth planned for the next 5 years, this is an opportunity to join a fast paced, proactive, and highly motivated team.
We’re looking for a Quality/STA Engineer with diversified knowledge and proven experiences and references who can work independently, take responsibility in defining Quality Check Control processes and documentation to ensure Quality Control and Assurance for all parts, components and systems. Experienced in coordinating the implementation of QC/QA systems to ensure that adequate procedures are in place and all parts are consistently made and assembled to specification within the BAC build processes. Responsible for managing quality between engineering, suppliers and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Investigate quality issues and coordinate with suppliers, engineering and manufacturing
Ensure manufacturing of parts, components and systems are consistent to specifications
Plan, implement, coordinate and direct quality control and assurance programs
Formulate and achieve quality control objectives and standards
Define, implement and perform QA Audits and check control procedures
Define adequate measures to maximise product reliability and minimise 'cost of quality'
Evaluate and establish quality systems in line with ISO 9001 or ISO/TS16949 best practice.
Implement Failure Mode & Effects Analysis
Plan and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability
Support warranty investigations by providing assistance for aftersales
Run production permit reviews with engineering and production
Active role in ECR process between engineering, purchasing and production
Prepare and maintain necessary documentation and records
Adhere to all applicable health and safety as operational procedures and directives
Support other functions as and when required

Qualifications and Experience
Degree holder in engineering, quality management or related disciplines
Min. of 5 Years experience in Quality Management in manufacturing environment
Experience in Automotive Industry, Premium or Performance Car Sector preferred
Widespread knowledge in vehicle components, technologies, systems such as engines, gearboxes, suspensions, automotive fluid systems, electrical and electronic systems
Knowledge of common assembly, testing and quality assurance practices
Experience in troubleshooting, FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and 8D Reports
Experience working within an ISO 90001 and/ or other Quality Management System environment
Knowledge of implementing Quality Cost Model (Prevention/ Appraisal/ Failure Costs)
Experience and substantial knowledge in Health & Safety
Self motivated with excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Administrative skills to prepare and maintain documentation and quality records
Literate computer skills (MS Office, Quality Management Systems, Statistics etc.)
